As part of my ‘getting back to constructing’ process, I decided from the start that I should begin with the easiest and most trivial projects that I have at hand. There are two main reasons for this. Firstly, it builds confidence and allows me to relearn small sets of skills at a time without jumping in and needing to do everything all out of the gate, and secondly it means that I can work out what tools I have for each job and only face buying things I need for model assembly in the first project, for example.
So, my first project was a simple stickering of a Transformers Prime Air Vehicon (Travis) and the assembly and stickering of his gun companion. I opted not to add the stockers for Travis’ blingy purple boots and the chameleons similarly metalic purple tail stickers as I felt that they were too much. Once done, the chameleon cannon got passed to the Ground Vehicon (Parker, naturally) and excahnged for his lighter rifle. I just think that this works better. Onwards and upwards!
